Because the product is so soft, the awkward-to-use sharpener gripped the product and pulled it out of the pencil shaft. I was not able to put it back in, it just broke in pieces. "Love the eyeliner for it's smudgability and wearability, but it is extremely fragile in that the product falls out of the pencil, it also is quite "bendy" and will smudge the inside of the cap/break off at the eye's waterline during application, even if barely extended."
